L'ÉCOLE, School of Jewelry Arts, supported by Van Cleef & Arpels, opens the world of jewelry to the public through courses, talks and exhibitions. For its exhibition Les routes de l'émeraude, I designed the campaign and the objects that extend it. Layered lines draw both a journey and the strata of stone.

An emerald carries two stories: the slow time of the rock it formed in, and the routes it travelled before reaching a jeweller’s bench. The campaign holds both in a single gesture. Fine contour lines, drawn like those of a topographic map, run across every format and read at once as routes and as the strata of stone.

The project ran from the first sketch to the final print, with the guidance of the agency’s creative team: posters and digital campaign, then the bookmarks, postcards and stickers handed to visitors. Each object picks up the lines at a different scale, so the exhibition stays in the visitor’s pocket after the visit.
